o This is a function of how credit card transactions operate. The charge the customer sees is actually an ‘authorization’, rather than a charge. Authorizations simply hold the amount on the card for a period of time (usually only a few days). They will disappear from the customer’s account absent any input from Your Company or Rakuten Travel Xchange. Simply assure the customer that they are only charged if a booking is successful.
